Service delivery from Joburg Water

BRYANSTON - Concerned resident Greg King is pleased to see service delivery in his community.

This following complaints about a pile of bricks that needed to be re-laid on the island situated at the corner of Bryanston Drive and Wilton Avenue. “In about October there was a severe water mains failure or burst pipe on this corner,” explained King. “The repair obviously required that the paving on the island be removed to get to the burst pipe.”

However, King said the paving bricks remained piled up on the island ever since October last year until recently when he spotted Joburg Water personnel on site attending to the matter.

He said, “Let’s give credit where it is due.”

The matter was also escalated to the relevant officials at Joburg Water by Ward 103 councillor Vincent Earp who requested that Joburg Water attend to the paving job.

Where else credit for service delivery should be given? Comment below, and let the Sandton Chronicle know.
