Johnnie Walker says thank you
SANDTON - To show their appreciation for the support for a stellar 2014, Johnnie Walker Blue ended off the year by inviting media partners to catch a sneak preview of the short film Gentleman’s Wager starring Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini on 10 December.
With free popcorn, a luxurious cinema and the sweet smell of fresh whisky Johnnie Walker Blue brought all members of the media to mingle and network at the Cine-prestige at Ster Kinekor in Sandton City.
Spokesperson for Brandhouse and Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Kabelo Mogara said, “This event is just to say thank you to our media partners for being so supportive throughout the Gentlemen’s Wager and The King of Flavour campaigns.
“Basically, without media, you’re lost. And this is a way to show them that we very much appreciate what they do.”
The short film starring British actor Law and Italian actor Giannini depicts two friends and their bet for a priceless boat. Themill.com said, “The plot is simple and elegant – two friends amusing one another simply for the sake of their own friendship.”
As 2014 comes to a close, Mogara said there will be great of exciting developments coming in 2015.
