Bryanston Country Club proposes new clubhouse for kids

BRYANSTON - In an effort to become more family friendly, the Bryanston Country Club has announced that they will be developing a children’s clubhouse which will be used as an entertainment and education facility.

The clubhouse will be developed alongside the existing children’s playground with its jungle gyms, swings and mini-scooter track, and is expected to be completed in March next year.

“We are thrilled to be able to develop this facility,” said club general manager Paul Leishman.

He added, “For some time we have seen the need for a centre in which children can be accommodated and entertained, particularly on days when the weather is poor and they are not able to play outdoors. The facility will be equipped with video games and used for a variety of indoor games and activities. It will also have a covered balcony with chairs and tables where children will be able to play.”

The clubhouse is one of many development’s Leishman describes as an attempt to make the country club less formal, and inclusive of all ages. He added, “Families are now able to come together and enjoy a day at the club, which has become increasingly popular with the Bryanston community.”

Property agent Dominic Courtney from Pam Golding Properties said “The Bryanston Country Club is such an integral part of a vibrant, family-orientated community. As a family-orientated business that prides itself on its community outreach programmes, Pam Golding Properties believes it shares many synergies with the club. We are proud to be able to assist with the development of the children’s clubhouse, which is an expression of our commitment to serving the needs of the Bryanston community.”
