Celebrate spring in Sandton

SANDTON – Locals and visits alike are encouraged to explore the city this spring.

As the weather warms up and lockdown regulations begin to ease, Joburg Tourism encourages locals and visitors alike to get out and about in the city.

According to MMC for Economic Development Thomas Mofokeng, as part of the Welcome to Joburg – a city reimagined campaign, South Africans should welcome all the diverse attractions and activities that Johannesburg has to offer.

“As we welcome the change of pace which kicks off the spring season in September, it is also time to celebrate our heritage, music and of course the importance of tourism, with World Tourism Day taking place annually on September 27,” said Mofokeng.

In an effort to boost attraction, the City is endorsing T-Musicman’s latest jazz endeavour, presenting a Jazz Drive-In from September 24 to 26 at the Sandton City Rooftop.

“This is a novel opportunity for jazz lovers to groove to the music in the comfort and safety of their own cars,” Mofokeng added.

Curated by T-Musicman, the musical line-up includes the Ziza Muftic Band, Uhadi – Remembering Sibongile Khumalo and Vuma Levin. For more information, or to buy a ticket, visit www.tmusicman.co.za
