Covid-19: The Ranch Resort in Limpopo declared a green zone

The group of 112 South Africans returned from China to South Africa on 14 March.

President Cyril Ramaphosa visited The Ranch Resort in Limpopo on Sunday, 29 March, where 112 South Africans returning from China were staying under quarantine.

The citizens will be reuniting with their families after testing negative for Covid-19 at the end of their quarantine.

The group arrived in South Africa on 14 March.

In a video released by eNCA, Ramaphosa said the area was first declared a red zone as all those who travelled from China, including the cabin crew, were put under a 14-day quarantine. Now that the period has ended, they have now confidently declared the ranch a green zone, as all have tested negative for the coronavirus.
