Heightened hygiene protocols at Tiger Wheel & Tyre
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Tiger Wheel & Tyre has engaged and provided tools to store managers and employees to implement heightened hygiene protocols.
Store managers and employees have received the necessary equipment to enforce heightened hygiene protocols in all high-contact areas including emergency kits which consist of manual hand sanitiser dispensers and sanitising spray.
“For the safety of our customers and employees, the key to minimising the risk of spreading COVID-19 is to clean all high-contact areas both deeply and frequently,” Farishta Singh, Marketing Executive, TiAuto.
“South Africa and the world stand on the brink of what could be our greatest triumph or our cruellest tragedy. How that plays out will come down to how we handle the situation now. I believe we’ll ultimately look back on this and realize it was the little things that made the biggest difference – washing door handles and cleaning countertops, keeping our (social) distance, and washing our hands, over and over again – and the speed with which we manage the situation,” Singh continued.
All employees have been briefed on how to practice good hygiene and to frequently and thoroughly wash hands and sanitise workspaces throughout the workday. Employees showing any sign of a cold or flu have been instructed to stay home for their safety and the safety of their colleagues and Tiger Wheel & Tyre patrons. Any employee showing signs during working hours will also be released immediately to seek medical attention.
