Autumn Garden Show 2020 postponed to next year

BRIDLE PARK – The postponement comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday evening set out measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus among South Africans.

The annual Autumn Garden Show 2020 has been postponed to autumn next year.

This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa said in his address to the nation on Sunday, 15 March, that gatherings of more than 100 people have been prohibited.

Ramaphosa announced measures taken by the government to combat the spread of COVID-19.

The Autumn Garden Show released a statement saying they would postpone the show until Autumn 2021. “Yes, we need to be prudent during these uncertain times, but let’s continue to support each other, our families and staff. Be sensible and act responsibly and respectfully towards the health of yourselves and customers by putting the necessary measures in place.”

The organisers of the Autumn Garden Show, Lonehill Media, thanked thank all the exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors for their support and said the date of the 2021 show would be announced later in the year.
