At the heart of this book are issues of cultural appropriation, cultural exclusivity, cultural fusion or hybridisation and Afrofusion in its exploration of theatre dance work. Homemade treats, community vendors, fresh coffee and baked goods, organic veg and herbs. All the art galleries and studious will be open. Enjoy the day in a safe environment.  Lots to do for the kids as well; face painting, balloon twisters, and stilt walker.  Live music all day. 29 September: Story Book Theatre This one is for the kiddies and fun-loving adults! From 2 – 29 September, Story Book Theatre is set to bring to life timeless fairy tales such as Rumpelstiltskin, The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Princess and the Pea and more all with the aim is to stimulate children to read and to share the wonder of books. Tickets available on www.peoplestheatre.co.za for R140. 29 September: Drive-In Cinema Hosted at St Stithians, Drive-In Cinema is reviving the experience of driving up to a big screen and watching a movie from the comfort of your car. This weekend, Drive-In will be screening Mrs Doubtfire and The Hangover on 27 September followed by Mrs Doubtfire and Bridesmaids on 28 September. Tickets from R250 – R350.
