Local twins star in Locnville video

Illovo residents Liaam and Teghan Shaer are two normal kids who starred in the newly-released Locnville music video.

The two 13-year-old’s, who go to Craiglands Primary School in Craighall Park, barely knew anything about Locnville except for a handful of songs.

According to Liaam, their mother found an advertisement on Facebook and after a number of interviews the two were chosen to star as the younger versions of the music duo, Andrew and Brian Chaplin for the music video of their single Baloo.

Liaam said, “I personally think we were chosen because we researched about them. We learnt their names, listened to their music and found out more about them.”

After being chosen, they shot the music video, with Liaam describing the experience as ‘fantastic’. Teghan said the two of them had fun going around the junkyard set where the video was shot.

Liaam said meeting the group was really nice and that they were fantastic guys. He added, “It was really good to know that there were many more twins out there. And it’s not only about being twins, but brothers and doing everything together… And I can’t stand being without my brother.”
