Musician and record boss owner, Mandla Maphumulo, popularly known as Mampintsha, has released a statement in response to allegations of abuse which were levelled against him during a live interview on Metro FM on 18 May.
In the interview, Metro FM presenter Masechaba Ndlovu and Mo Flava, talk to gqom queen, Babes Wodumo, about pregnancy rumours, her engagement and her new song, Ka Dazz.

The interview quickly becomes emotional when Ndlovu confronts Babes on allegations of abuse that the musician had allegedly endured at the hands of her long time partner and manager, Mampintsha.
Ndlovu claimed that she had a friend who had taken Babes in when Mampintsha allegedly punched her in the face and that she knew that he had also broken her leg.
Wodumo neither agrees or disagrees to the allegations, but is seen crying after the emotional interview.

We might differ on the "correctness" of Masechaba's revelation, but surely we must all agree that she did us the world of good in outing #Mampintsha.
It is also quite sad that #BabesWodumo could not out him on her own terms.
