#ICYMI: DJ Sbu opens academy to develop hustlers
JOBURG – Popular radio personality, musician and 'chief hustler', DJ Sbu will soon litter the streets with hustlers.
If you are stopped in the street by youngsters who want to aggressively sell you something or some financial product, then they will most probably be DJ Sbu’s hustlers.
Sbusiso Leope, better known as DJ Sbu, has partnered with the 3Sixty Financial Services Group (360 FSG) to found a learning academy which will positively impact thousands of young lives and their families.
Aptly named The Hustlers Academy, DJ Sbu has opened the academy to develop and shape a new mindset in the youth and to not just sit on their laurels and expect things to happen for them.

The academy, at 91 Central Street, Houghton, is an independent privately funded economic empowerment project spearheaded by DJ Sbu to address the overwhelming lack of jobs for the youth.
“We will train and educate young hustlers [salesmen and women] to either be entrepreneurs or corporate hustlers,” said DJ Sbu.
“Our training programme and academy curriculum will produce the best sales force this country has ever seen and develop the minds of hustlers to understand how the world works and how to stand out.
“We want to develop entrepreneurs who start businesses and employ teams of hustlers within an 18-month period. ‘The Hustlers Academy will take in the hustlers for training nationally in multiple provinces providing a practical and theoretical intervention in the lives of those who are skilled and restless, and equip them with live-changing merchant tools.”
Group CEO and chairman of 360 FSG, a subsidiary of Numsa Investments Company, Khandani Msibi said, “Our approach to empowerment is based on sustainability for the hustlers who make it through the academy. We will develop people mentally as well as financially and make a serious change in their socio-economic positions.

“DJ Sbu has the potential to influence a generation and he shows this on a daily basis with his determination to succeed. We are matching his determination and passion for economic empowerment with our backing of The Hustlers Academy project. We look forward to changing thousands of lives with a long-term impact.”
The Hustlers Academy has no registration fees and requires no learning fees. “It requires you, your time, your commitment… Lazy people will not make it,” DJ Sbu concluded.
Registrations are online at www.hustlersacademy.co.za and start on 1 June.
