Johannesburg North has experienced some heavy rainfall and flooding of various roads and bridges, which began yesterday, 22 March.

Earlier this week, the South African Weather Service advised that heavy rain leading to localised flooding was expected in Gauteng, among other provinces, on Thursday and continuing on Friday.

And while this is a serious concern and we urge all motorists to drive safely and avoid flooded areas, rainy weather and traffic are rather gloomy.

So to cheer you up, here are some of the funniest road signs and memes we’ve found to brighten your mostly cloudy day …
