If you follow Ntando Duma on Instagram then you would know that she is the biggest fan of Gqom music.
That is the reason she was chosen to present Gqom Nation on MTV Base.
Following the success of her debut single with the queen of Gqom, Babes Wodumo, Ntando told City Buzz that she has been working on a new track with DJ Boonu and Duncan.
“I can reveal that the song is being released next Tuesday [20 March]. Of course, it is Gqom because that is the genre that is dominating the country’s music scene at the moment,” she said.
Ntando got into music after she posted a video of herself jumping on top of a bed chanting jiva phez’kombhede, vuku muntu.
“I later got a call from Babes [Wodumo] saying that she would like to turn the phrase into a song. I then said she could do it, but she said she wanted me to feature in the song.”
