City Buzz has a fabulous new look and it’s on streets today

The City Buzz team woke up very early yesterday morning, 22 February, to head to the Caxton Printers, based in Industria West, to watch as the first batch of the first edition of your favourite publication’s new look was printed.

The new look is on streets today, 23 February, and the team is ecstatic to bring you a publication that will tell you where the buzz is at in the city.

It’s in a smaller format so you can flip through it easily and, inside, it brings you the buzz on community members who are doing some extraordinary things in the world of art, culture and entertainment.

The first edition of the new look is plated up.

This was ahead of the team’s three-day activation in various parts of the city to promote the new look. You can catch is in Braam today from 7am, outside Neighbourgoods Market from 11am on Saturday and in Maboneng from 11am on Sunday. Hint: We have goodies to give away, along with a copy of our free publication. Smile and pose for our cameras, and you may just be featured in next month’s edition or on our website.

Journalist Mpho Moloto said he loved working on this issue and that he met wonderful people who made his job easy. “While it has been a lot, it has also been lit! All-round, it has been a great experience,” he said.

“Everyone in the city has been too great and made it easy to create A1 content for them.”

Caxton Joburg North group editor, Daniella Potter said she was thrilled to finally show readers what the team has been working on for the past few weeks.

“There’s just no question about it: If you’ve got a talent to showcase, there’s no doubt that you need to be featured in City Buzz, so come on, call on us, we’ll make you trend,” she said.

Business manager of the Caxton Joburg North Branch, Norman Dawe, said the ongoing project was exciting. “We are ecstatic to bring the new product to the city and the new format makes it an easier read. It will showcase the wonderful people who make up this awesome hub within Joburg.”

“Enjoy and READ IT!,” Dawe concluded.
