Red Bull finally reveals star-studded crew line-ups for highly anticipated Culture Clash 2017

JOBURG – 23 September at Orlando Stadium looks set to be one hell of a night.

 

Red Bull has finally made the big reveal as to which artists will be featured in the crews who will be going head-to-head for all the bragging rights.

Leaders of these crews will be AKA, DJ Tira, Patoranking and Admiral & Jahseed.

They have enlisted some of the industry’s top musicians to back their respective crews for an epic show that many are calling the biggest live music battle experience the continent has ever seen.

The African Storm Sound System, led by Admiral & Jahseed, will feature the likes of Speedy, self-proclaimed ‘Hype King’ Tol A$$ Mo, Dance Hall Queens and as well as the legendary Oskido.

Red Hot Sound System will be led by Patoranking and will feature DJ Snypes, Jupitar, mega hip-hop twins Major League DJ’z and also the hottest hit-maker in Africa, Gemini Major.

Representing not only Durban but also the Kwaito and House genres will be the Durban Massacre Sound System. This crew, led by one of South Africa’s biggest producers, DJ Tira, will feature an impressive list of artists such as Professor, Duncan, Killer Kau, Distruction Boyz, Naak Musiq and the iconic Big Nuz.

Holding it down for the hip-hop nation will be the Top Boyz Sound System, led by the Super Mega, AKA. He has enlisted Anatii, JR, Yanga Chief, DJ Fanatic, Twins on Decks, as well as Master A Flat.

To add to the already impressive line-ups, crews will be introducing additional surprise artists during the event as part of their arsenal of musical weaponry.

“None of the teams have what it takes to beat our Top Boyz Sound System. We’re making sure we have all the right elements – world-class talent, infectious energy and impressive sound and lighting – to bring fans a one-of-a-kind performance. The crowd and competition won’t know what hit them! Get ready SA, we’re coming for you,” said AKA.

As it is the response from the crowd that decides the winner on the night, 23 September at Orlando Stadium looks set to be one hell of a night.
