Joburg locals win big in Fashion competition
JOBURG - Bogart Man gives three models an opportunity of a lifetime.
Bogart Man launched a competition in August last year called, The Face of Bogart Man, in the hope of finding the new face for the brand.
More than seven months later, the winners were announced on the 1st of April 2017 at Hard Rock Cafe in Menlyn Mall, after the fashion show.
The contestants entered online or at selected malls around the country. Professional models entered. The contestants had to adhere to the rules of the competition in order to be successful candidates eligible for consideration. This included doing things like campaigning on social media. Judging was not just based on votes, personalities contributed a lot as well.
Tshego Koke, from Southgate, came in 3rd place. Godfrey Mpathe from Melville finished in 2nd place. Sandton local, Neo Malao, was the winner of the competition. All three models will now get the chance to be brand ambassadors for Bogart Man.
Bogart said that they will be taking them under the company’s wing and will assist them with two CSI projects of their choices. In addition, they will also take part in various fashion shows, feature on numerous billboards countrywide, in magazine spreads and make public appearances where they will also get to wear the brand.
