Moz Kidd well positioned to go big in 2017

JOBURG – Talented young rapper hopes his love and passion will carry him through, despite the challenges he faces.

Rising hip-hop sensation, Hogan Antia, popularly known as Moz Kidd, said he is well positioned to take the South African music scene by storm in the new year.

Known for his impeccable delivery of verse and punch lines, Moz Kidd recently released a music video for one of his songs titled, Been Thru a Lot.

Moz Kidd partially tells his story in Been Thru a Lot, which in short, he explains how he went from managing to producing a song for Riky Rick at age 18; from being rejected and counted out various times in the music industry to doing everything on his own without any management and losing friends and trying to convince his parents that music is what he wants to do.

The 19-year-old eloquent rapper believes that 2016 was a groundbreaking year for him as an artist, having made huge strides with the release of his mixtape titled, What Were You Doing At 19?

“I can definitely say I took longer strides with my career this year than I did last year. The most important thing about this year for me is that I have positioned myself in a great place to make 2017 an even better year,” he expressed.

Moz Kidd said he chose music because it had always been a hidden passion for many years of his life, but he was glad to be sharing his talent with the rest of the world.

He is proving that he is a rising artist to watch out for and will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Having released his debut mixtape to great reception, the talented rapper said the project has opened more doors for him and earned him a lot of traction.

With the new year well poised to be good for the young law student, the main aim will be to break into the mainstream of the hip-hop industry.

“The plan is just to do it bigger and better next year. My goal is to break into the mainstream industry which will enable me to release more material, but in a more structured way,” shared Kidd.
