RocoMamas has launched three election burgers to tickle the palates of locals who are closely following the road to the 2016 United States Presidential Elections.

The burger house said that customers have an option of choosing between the Hill Bill and the Donald burgers – as in the two political parties facing off in the upcoming elections on 8 November.

To cater for non-conformist taste buds, the burger house has thrown in the Joker burger, which founder of RocoMamas, Brian Altriche, said is an ‘eye player’.

“The burgers are vastly different characters of certain politicians, with a third one fitting in with what humanity is about politically at the moment, especially the millennials and younger people. People are despondent with politics worldwide,” explained Altriche.

The 46-year-old said that each burger was created to mimic the characteristics of the candidates with the Joker being the best-tasting option for brave-hearts and freethinkers.

“The Donald is a double-beef smash, double cheese and cheese sauce. It’s double the bull and super cheesy; in the Hillary we’ve put in chicken smash, beef smash, bacon and we have tried to make it more because with the Hillary and Bill scenario one will never know the truth,” said Altriche.

He added that the Joker was anti what the two stood for and what they were and said the whole campaign was ‘cheeky and fun’. According to the founder, the fast food outlet uses fresh ingredients and everything is prepared from scratch. Altriche said this had set the brand apart from the rest.

“Every six to eight weeks we do change our burger promo; we want to keep the menu interesting and exciting.”

Since the launch of the #ElectionBurger campaign, customers have been voting for the burger of their choice via Twitter and Instagram. To date, the Joker is ahead with almost 120 votes, the Donald right behind with more than 100 votes and the Hill Bill taking the last spot with more than 50 votes.

“I believe our customers will pick up on the quirkiness of the political burger campaign because it’s fun,” concluded Altriche.
