The Little Prince lights up the stage

PARKTOWN – The National Children’s Theatre will present the production, The Little Prince, which is based on the story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, from 8 March to 17 April.

The heartwarming story of love and friendship will delight audiences of all ages.

The tale has been adapted and directed by Francois Theron and is about an aviator who lands in the Sahara Desert.

He befriends a little prince who has fallen to earth from a tiny asteroid called B612, who then tells the aviator stories of his home and his love for the singing rose in the garden.

When the little prince lands on earth, he meets another collection of colourful characters, including a dangerous snake and a wise fox, who have very different ways of looking at life. It is here, on earth, where the little prince learns the most important life lessons.
