Rediscovering the love of whisky
JOBURG - Residents were treated to the world’s finest whiskies at the 13th annual Whisky Live Festival from 11 to 13 November.
The festival saw a plethora of whisky being exhibited at the Sandton Convention Centre with tasters, connoisseurs and master distillers revelling in the vibrant and bold flavours of some of the world’s most celebrated whiskies.
With a complete rebranding, the festival looked to create a platform to re-introduce the wonders of whisky to the consumer through masterclasses and a floor plan which highlighted the different brands from all over the world.
“It’s the 13th year and we’ve launched a rebrand of the show which will mark the sophistication of the festival,” said chief operating officer of the festival Emily Stockden.
She added that they changed the slogan from Discover the Mystery to Discover the Mastery which creates the link between the consumer’s journey to the educational aspects of the festival.
