Randlords is an exclusive rooftop bar and lounge that specialises in corporate and private events. The venue was recently voted as the Best Venue for Hire in the Best of Joburg Leisure Options Readers’ Choice Awards 2015 and they celebrated with some delicious sundowners.
“Randlords was voted as Joburg’s best special events venue for 2015,” said general manager of Randlords, Nizbert Fuzane.
“We got the award in 2012 and now again in 2015. It’s a prize that we’re very proud to have, but we do take note that it is you, the people, who use the venue that actually gave us the votes for this award. Thank you, and we hope that this is not the last we see of this award.”
Hand-picked guests were treated to cocktails, nibbles and spectacular 360° views of the City of Gold as they watched the sunset to celebrate the venue’s iconic win.
“Now you can’t come here with your partner and have a drink. No, we don’t open to the public like that. You have to book the entire space, hire the entire venue,” Fuzane explained. However, Randlords is open to the public for a few special events, but you’ll have to keep an eye on their website to find out when.
Tatiana Prihodova, marketing manager for the venue, explained that Randlords belonged to South Point Accommodation, which provides student accommodation, retail and commercial properties in Johannesburg.
After much schmoozing and admiring the view, a lucky draw took place, with gorgeous prizes from Randlords and Jenna Clifford Designs, who also had a brilliant range of products on display throughout the evening.
