Johannesburg-based model, Tayla Davis was named Maxim South Africa’s most desirable woman for this year. “There are so many beautiful and successful women in South Africa, are you sure?” asked Davis during her acceptance speech.
Maxim South Africa partnered with Biotone Energy Tonic, Belvedere Vodka and AquaVita Mineral Water for the event. The evening was an intimate affair at one of Sandton’s hot night clubs and featured some well-known faces.
Chosen by Maxim South Africa readers, the list features rising female stars of film, music, sports, TV and fashion. Some of the more famous faces that made the Top 20 included actress and presenter Pearl Thusi, model Lee-Ann Liebenberg and TV presenters Jeannie D and Naomi Noinyane.
This event also showcased special performances by DJs Kimmy K, Gennaro, Alex Caige and Sebastian.
Notable guests in attendance included TV presenters ProVerb, Roxy Burger, actress Leandie Du Randt and soccer players Lennox Bacela and Charlton Mashumba.
