Miss SA 2016 celebrity judges unveiled

JOBURG – As regional judging for the Miss South Africa 2016 pageant gets underway across the country, two celebrity judges were introduced.

Former Generations actress and media personality, Sophie Ndaba; and writer and poet, Kojo Baffoe, have been announced as the two celebrity judges for the popular pageant.

The two will be present at the third regional judging at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton. Ndaba said she agreed to get on board because of the pageant’s focus on passion-driven women.

“I love women driven by passion and most importantly… [the organisers] know I approve of the fact that Miss SA highlights beauty with a purpose,” she said.

She also expressed her love for pageants, highlighting the platform which they provided for winners to launch careers after the pageant.

Preliminary judging at the Maslow will take place between 22 and 23 August, and the two judges will be joined by former Miss SA, Tatum Keshwar.

The Miss SA 2016 pageant will take place in March next year at Sun City.
