Durban’s own Gangs of Ballet got the crowd pepped up before the international pop rock band from Colorado in the United States took centre stage.
One Republic started off playing behind a white curtain with only their silhouettes showing, and when the curtain dropped, the party started. Fire cannons erupted, confetti fell from the ceiling and the crowd went wild.

It was also a stellar event for the band as Banger Films were filming One Republic’s first-ever full concert DVD – right here in Jozi. The two-hour concert will soon be available for fans to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.
The band also seemed to enjoy their South African stay as they took in all the sights such as Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
