Free movies during Cinema Nouveau’s Turkish Film Festival

JOBURG - After the recent success of the European Film Festival at Cinema Nouveau, they are proud to announce the screening of the Turkish Film Festival.

 

The festival will run for its third year until 14 June at various cinema houses around the country.

The films featured have been described as some of the best international art house and foreign language films the world over.

Screenings of the films will be free to the public, a decision that was made by Cinema Nouveau in an attempt to grow the viewership of quality foreign films in South Africa.

The festival offers cinema lovers the opportunity to explore contemporary Turkish cinema, with the screening of recent internationally-awarded films and box office successes.

The festival will be opened with the showing of the films Sivas, Egg, Once Upon A Time in Anatolia, Yozgat Blues and Love Likes Coincidences.

The festival features a number of award-winning films from a number of different genres and promises to bring the best of its kind for viewing to South Africa.
