Nando’s is famous as South Africa’s multinational flame-grilled peri-peri chicken success story, yet it has a heartfelt pride in South African creativity that it loves to share and celebrate.

Titled Rites and Duties, the impressive art collection is permanently on display in Nando’s restaurants around the world, making African art accessible worldwide. From 23 April to 22 May, selected works in this extensive portfolio has, for the first time, been brought back from the walls of Nando’s restaurants to be displayed in an exhibition that coincided with Freedom Month celebrations, at the historic Constitution Hill in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Constitution Hill therefore invites educational institutions for a walkabout of the exhibition and also to have the opportunity to engage with and watch the mosaic art students of the Spier Arts Academy as they work in the exhibition space.

The walkabouts run from 12 to 20 May for an hour from 11am everyday.
