Inspired by the greatest in the industry, Alex-born Delta Chosi’s music and entertainment career is on the upswing.

She has been wowing crowds with her fusion of RnB, hip hop, kwaito, reggae and dancehall music. Her first single Zaga has been launched and has featured on the hit television show Ayeye.

Despite a diminutive physique, the talented Chosi draws strength and tenacity in her resolve to be number one from her mother and grandmother. She has also been likened to black music role models such as Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah and Beyonce.

Already a world champion dancer, she has her her feet firmly planted on the ground with her sights set on international success. Her ambition is to be the first South African female rapper to reach number one status in the world. With a quirky sense of humour Chosi lives by the motto: “Reach for the moon so that if you miss you will still float among the stars.”

She also runs dance workshops for youngsters with ambition to make it in the industry.

Last year she choreographed for singer Nothende on X-Factor SA and choreographed the kids’ flash mobs for Nike, Jordan and Converse. This year she has featured on Trace Urban social media platforms in The Daily Sun along with performances at Hip Hop Wave and We Run The Night at Kwa-Lichaba in Soweto.
