Ink Entertainment and Skyy Vodka partnered up for New Year’s Eve to throw one of Joburg’s most anticipated parties of the night at the Elevate Rooftop Venue.
The event, which sold out well in advance, boasted performances by beloved DJ’s such as Vato Kayde and Twins on Decks from 5FM, as well as Marco the DJ and many more.The venue was packed to capacity by 10pm, with many more revelers standing outside hoping to get in. Bouncers were forced to deny entry to many who tried to buy tickets on the night. There was a stunning fireworks show from the rooftop of the venue and party-goers Nomsa Qobose and Michael Williams thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
“It was so much fun. The music was amazing and the vibe was insane,” said Qobose.
Organisers of the event, Zaid Manuel and Devan Krull, co-owners of Ink Entertainment said it was a huge success and it was a nice crowd that attended.
“It was definitely one of our biggest events besides the Black Coffee event earlier this year. Actually it was our biggest event, even though it wasn’t our biggest venue,” said Krull.
