Buzz Kidz entertain the town

JOBURG - Buzz Kidz sang and danced their way through Joburg North suburbs.

Buzz – Drama, Dance and Singing is a revolutionary new children’s development platform in South Africa.

Over the past two years, hundreds of children from across Gauteng have experienced the growth in confidence, co-ordination and creativity that comes from being a part of the Buzz programme.

The Buzz Kidz did numerous presentations over six days, from 1 to 6 December, where they showcased their singing and dancing talents at various venues around Joburg.

Each venue held two workshops and two presentations back to back.

On 6 December, the Buzz Kidz showcased their talent and enthusiasm through a brilliant high-energy performance which included the unique Buzz Outer Space Adventure, complete with their unique characters like Scotty the Spaceman. The performance incorporated original Buzz music which was used in song and dance!

All music, choreography, characters and adventures are created by, and are unique to, Buzz Kidz founder, Hanneke Rauch and her music partner Hlubi Kwebulana.

The fun and interactive performances involved all the kidz in the group and can be described as ensemble performances with every last child getting a chance to shine while having fun.

The 30-minute shows included poems, songs and dance, all original Buzz material and tell the story of Scotty the Spaceman and other characters from Outer Space. Scotty challenges the kidz to come with him in his super cool Rock-Out-Rocketship through Outer Space to STOP the villainous Galliumina from flying her gas guzzling smokey smelly Gas-O-Thron 3000 around.

Friends and family of the Buzz Kidz reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the presentations and that it was a huge success!
