Will #GenerationsLegacy rise above Twitter reaction
TWITTERBUZZ – The much anticipated come back of the 8pm SABC1 soapie, Generations has received a mixed reaction from Twitter users.
This after the contracts of 16 lead actors were terminated earlier this year after what may be described a public feud between the actors and the creator, Mfundi Vundla.
In the past few years, we have seen an explosion of comments being posted on social media platforms about television shows and when Twitter speaks, many listen.
It would appear comments on social media may have an impact on the popularity of shows, and this may be because social media, including twitter allows audiences to respond in real time.
However, the question remains, will Vundla or the producers pay attention to these comments.
