Golfing for good

KILLARNEY - ORT South Africa invites the community to participate in its 41st annual golf day, and to do their bit to eradicate poverty through education.

ORT South Africa is the local branch of an international educational organisation, which seeks to create a better life for all through empowerment of youth, communities, teachers and businesses.

The organisation’s annual golf day, due to take place this year at Killarney Country Club on 26 October, provides an opportunity for the community to get involved, contribute towards ORT’s educational programmes, and enjoy a day of summer fun and good sport.

Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to sponsor a hole, enter a four-ball, or both, to do their part for education in South Africa. Great prizes are available, from high value vouchers, hampers of luxury items, and a grand prize of two nights fully inclusive accommodation at a game lodge. An exciting raffle will be held in honour of Len Lewison, long-time supporter of the ORT South Africa Golf Day Classic.

With four decades of golfing spirit behind it, the annual golf day promises to provide a day of summer enjoyment in the name of a good cause.
