MonArk launch debut album

CRAIGHALL -fans treated to exclusive, intimate performance.

Pop rock band MonArk launched their debut album, Negatives, at an intimate, exclusive event.

The Potchefstroom-based band have fast made a name for themselves with singles like Something, Built It Up, and Smiling have been well-received by radio stations across the country.

The event, limited to 100 tickets, was held at one of the largest free-standing musical instrument shops in the southern hemisphere, Music Connection.

Fans, friends and family of the band members mingled over drinks and snacks before the band took to the stage to perform songs from the album.

The band’s frontman, Eugene Coetzer, thanked fans, friends, family, music industry colleagues, the media, and record label Universal Music for their unwavering support.

“Thank you for supporting us, and thank you for choosing our songs,” he said.

“We couldn’t have done this without you.”

MonArk features Coetzer on vocals, Ewald Jansen van Rensburg on guitar and SFX, Francois de Klerk on guitar and SFX, Deon de Klerk on bass, and Graeme Wuth on drums.
