I Heart Joburg line-up announced
JOBURG - The international and local line-up of the debut 12-hour music extravaganza, the I Heart Joburg Music Festival, has been announced.
The incredible line-up for the September event includes Grammy and MTV Europe Music award-winners and Billboard chart-topping artists.
“Festival-goers can expect an eclectic mix of six international heavyweights and six local favourites across various genres,” said event organiser Louis Steyn.
The international line-up includes Fall Out Boy, Jessie J, Jason Derulo, Panic! At The Disco, B.o.B., and T-pain.
The local line-up was left in the hands of the fans, who chose the six acts from 18 shortlisted candidates in an on-air voting showdown on 5FM.
Joining the international big names on stage will be CrashCarBurn, iFani, Graeme Watkins Project, Kwesta, Zebra and Giraffe, and The Arrows.
The I Heart Joburg Music Festival will take place on 6 September at Ellis Park Stadium, New Doornfontein, from 11am until 11pm.
