Yaisa Etsiah, a Grade 9 pupil at Sacred Heart College, attended the D13 netball trials of the Gauteng Private School’s League.

She was among a number of other girls from Sacred Heart College in the U14 and U16 age groups. On 21 March, Etsiah played against some tough opposition and has been selected to attend Gauteng trials in the goalkeeper position.

“Being selected for the Gauteng netball trials is a great feat as there are over 30 schools that send their girls to the selection trials,” said Peter Augustin, head of sport at Sacred Heart College. “We wish her all the best for the upcoming Gauteng trials.”
