Squash at Norwoord Primary School

NORWOOD - NORWOOD Primary School partook in squash development programmes from Egolisquash on 9 March. A number of development programmes were implemented to promote the game of squash to youth from disadvantaged communities.

Pupils of Norwood Primary School play a squash game.

Through the flexibility that Egolisquash provides, a mobile squash court was set up on the school’s sports field where pupils had easy access to the game. Coaches created different groups were pupils were able to partake in various activities.

The shortage of adequate school’s sports facilities has been one of the crucial issues which for a long time have delayed the full development of sports in South Africa. Egolisquash through Central Gauteng Squash has made huge impacts through its mobile squash court to introduce the sport of squash and ensure that pupils have an opportunity to enjoy the fun of playing sports.

Egoli Squash and Central Gauteng school squash have started introducing new schools to the game.
