Do the sole roll outside kick

The video ends with a call to look at the IQ Football website for free tools, daily tips and information about the company's elite brain-centred training.

IQ Football’s latest training video teaches one how to do the sole roll outside kick, an advanced change-up using the sole and side of the foot.

Coach, Sean Szabo starts the video by encouraging viewers to enjoy the video, practise the trick and subscribe to the IQ Football YouTube channel. The first step to the trick is to roll across the ball with the sole of your foot. Szabo demonstrates this while moving from one side to the other, pulling the ball with him with his sole.

The second step sees Szabo nudge the ball back to the other side of him with the outside of the same foot. He does this, rolling and kicking the ball side to side in short and quick motions. As with all exercises Szabo demonstrates in online videos, he then performs the trick with his left foot, showing again how important it is to be proficient with both feet.

The video ends with a call to look at the IQ Football website for free tools, daily tips and information about the company’s elite brain-centred training. Daily challenges are presented on the IQ Football social media pages, and Szabo encourages youngsters to use their time productively and learn these new skills. There is also a competition for soccer players from ages three to 18, where if they take a video of themselves doing a soccer skill or trick and upload the video on Facebook or Instagram and tag IQ Football, then they can win a size-four soccer ball. The post must also include the hashtag #IQFootballSkillsCompetition. IQ Football is based at Craighall Sports Club.
