Forward goes The Parks Netball Team

PARKHURST – The Parks Netball Team members were elated as they received a full kit and equipment at their year-end function.

It was a joyous occasion for The Parks Netball team as they celebrated their year-end function simultaneously with the handover of their brand-new kit. The women held their ceremony at Parkhurst Primary School where they also practice.

The green and yellow kit which also came with sneakers, bibs, two netballs, whistles and other equipment were all thanks to JT Communication Solutions (JT Comms) who are powered by Mindshare and ECAfrica.

Marketing manager at JT Comms, Isabel Tapfumaneyi expressed her company’s overall pleasure in handing over the equipment and hoped that The Parks Netball team would keep growing in their commitment to creating community through netball, as per their slogan.

Matoni said netball gave them a way to keep fit and healthy while also having fun. “We do enjoy ourselves so much and we have become sisters. We are looking forward to seeing how we can grow and develop our team in 2020 and would like to thank everyone who has assisted us so far. To end the year with our own kit, logo and place to share our story is truly wonderful,” Matoni said.

Matoni also extended her gratitude to their committed coach Gabisile Dladla, ward councillor Tim Truluck, all the team members as well as community members at large for the continued support.
