Runners to compete in J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge

JOBURG – 14,000 runners to compete on J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge.

The annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge (JMCC) is set to take place in and around the Wanderers Club on 28 March.

According to JMCC, 14 000 runners, joggers and walkers of 343 companies will take part in this year’s race.

“The organisers have worked closely with the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department to keep disruptions during road closures and traffic delays to a minimum,” said JMCC in the statement.

“High priority is placed on ensuring limited disruption to the flow of traffic in the affected areas during the race. Residents will be allowed access in and out of the area, although access will be restricted while runners are on the route.”

All residents in the below-mentioned areas who will be affected by road closures are urged to arrange to be home before 5pm or return after 8.30pm to avoid any frustration that may be caused by the road closures.

Should any resident require assistance during this period, please contact the ER24 National Call Centre on 084 124.
