Comrades seminars for first-time runners

SANDTON – Bonitas will host Comrades seminars for the novice runners ahead of the marathon.

Bonitas will host the Bonitas Comrades Novice Seminars to assist first-time Comrades runners ahead of the marathon on 4 June.

This year’s theme for the Comrades Marathon is ‘It Takes All of You’ and the novice runner will find this out over the next six months.

Bonitas will be there before the race and every step along the route for runners tackling the gruelling 86.7km up run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg for the first time.

To help get participants across the finish line before the 12-hour cut-off time, it is essential that they are prepared. It is important that they know what to expect of the route, that they have trained adequately in terms of time spent out on the road and that they also fuel their bodies correctly.
