Learn to defend yourself

NORWOOD - With the level of crime as it is, Emet Krav Maga's, Dion Fransman, is offering practical hand-to-hand combat training to empower residents.

Emet Krav Maga is run by Fransman, who has over 26 years of experience and has trained and taught thousands of children, teenagers and adults.

Fransman is offering a self-defence course on 1 November in Norwood on William Road above the Norwood Spar where everyone’s invited to learn a life skill and how to protect themselves and those they love in a situation which requires self-defence.

Frasman said, “Its so important to know how to handle various crime situations should, God forbid, one be in one. We teach people how to be prepared and learn skills and techniques for survival.”

The self-defence course will be at a discounted rate of R300, and all are welcome. No martial arts experience is necessary.

Fransman currently runs classes for adults, children, women only, and one-on-ones.
