Roads closed for epic Ellis Park clash

ALL roads lead to Ellis Park Stadium for the 2013 Castle Lager Rugby Championship title decider between the Springboks and their nemesis, the All Blacks, on 5 October.

Several roads around the stadium precinct will be closed from 8am to 10pm on Saturday.

These are Joe Slovo Drive and Currey Street, Sivewright Avenue and Currey Street, Sivewright Avenue and Sizie Street, Sivewright Avenue and Beit Street, Bertrams Road and Fitzroy Street, Bertrams Road and Miller Road, Albertina Sisulu Road and Gous Street, Miller Road and Upper Railway Street, as well as Miller Street and Dawe Street.

There will be park-and-ride facilities at East Rand Mall, Clearwater Mall, Melrose Arch, Cresta Shopping Centre, Cedar Square Shopping Centre, Centurion Mall, Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, Greenstone Shopping Centre and Alberton City.

Tickets for the park-and-ride are available at Computicket at R150.

Kick-off is 5pm.
