Get set for Pirates junior cricket

GREENSIDE – Young, enthusiastic cricketers can look forward to the beginning of Pirates Sports Club’s junior cricket programme later this month.

The season will run from 21 September until the end of March next year, with a break in December.

According to club manager Non Welsford, the programme is for children between the ages of five and 13, and practice will take place every Saturday from 9am until 11am.

Seasonal and casual membership is available, and the cost of the seasonal membership includes a club shirt and cap.

Registration will take place on 14 September at the club, Braeside Road, Greenside, from 9am until 11am.
