There is also a competition for soccer players from ages three to 18, where if they take a video of themselves doing a soccer skill or trick.

In another video IQ Football has published to help soccer players train at home, coach Sean Szabo explains how one can supercharge their touches in 30 seconds.

Daily challenges are presented on the IQ Football social media pages, and Szabo encourages youngsters to use their time productively and learn these new skills. There is also a competition for soccer players from ages three to 18, where if they take a video of themselves doing a soccer skill or trick and upload the video on Facebook or Instagram and tag IQ Football, then they can win a size-four soccer ball.

The post must also include the hashtag #IQFootballSkillsCompetition.

Szabo started the video by demonstrating how one can make many touches of the ball in a short space of time.”As long as you’ve got a football and a little bit of space you’ll be able to do this,” Szabo explained afterwards.

He said one must put boundaries around a small square area, whether with cones or other objects one has on hand. “You are going to work for 30 seconds. You are going to count as many touches as you can do in that 30 seconds.” Szabo explained the trick is to keep the ball within the square, as any touches on the ball made outside the square do not count.

After one is finished with the exercise, the coach said they should rest 30 seconds to a minute and then repeat the exercise four more times.”I want to see what your highest amount of touches can be in that time.”
