Cyclists ride for Thembalami Care Centre

LOMBARDY EAST – Cyclists supports old age home through 947 race.

Thembalami Care Centre will again be blessed by Infinitude Design’s goodwill.
The care centre based in Lombardy East has enjoyed wonderful support from the Sandton-based company for the past six years and this year is no exception.
Samantha Peck of Infinitude Design will be doing her fifth 947 Cycle Challenge on 20 November and, as usual, she and her colleagues will ride for a purpose to raise funds for Thembalami Care Centre. Over the years, Infinitude Design cyclists have raised more than R30 000 a year.

Thembalami is a Rand Aid-associated non-profit organisation which provides frail care with 24-hour nursing to elderly members of the community.
“All funds raised over the past five years have been well assigned to assist with designing and revamping certain portions of the interior areas at the care centre in order to further provide both the staff and residents with a renewed sense of hope,” explained Peck, adding that this year, the care centre’s two main dining rooms would be given a new look.
