In the women’s competition, Jozi took the trophy home. The team, made up mostly of women who played water polo at school together, four of whom went to Rand Park High, swept aside the opposition, winning the final 5–3 against Maties from Stellenbosch. Jessica Bentley of the winning team won the best goalkeeper award and her teammate, Kieran Paley, was voted Player of the Tournament.
Silvertree from Cape Town won the play-off for third place 8–5 against UCT; but were unlucky not to have reached the final as they had beaten Jozi in the group section and only lost to Maties by one goal.
