Marco Massinetti triumphs at Glacier Junior Series

Houghton Golf Club hosted the Selwyn Nathan Tournament, a junior golf tournament, which saw Glendower Golf Club’s Marco Massiceti winning the event and booking his place in the national final of the Glacier Junior Series.

The scratch golfer signed for a round of 75 to win by a single stroke over Wanderers golfer, Daniel Frangos.

Janco Breedt, a seven handicap from Akasia Golf Club, won the B Division on a count-out (player with the lowest cumulative net score) with his round of 82. Nine-year-old Marno Lange took the honours in the C Division with 41 points playing off a 20 handicap.
