After years of having a Pikitup dustbin without a lid, the revoltingness of it got to me and I recently had to struggle to get a new dustbin delivered to me. When I take a look down my street on garbage day, about 70 percent of the bins don’t have lids.
The bins in the street have been damaged by bad handling and disrespect and then we have to fight to get new bins and our tax money goes to replacing things which should not have been broken in the first place.
I have personally witnessed the Pikitup staff launch the bins from off the truck only to let them come to a halt by crashing into the pavement.
