Last week at 2am on 7 May we were woken up by an enormous crash.
We phoned ADT Security, having been a client of theirs for more than 16 years.
Our first thought was that someone was breaking into our house.
It transpired that a drunk driver smashed through our solid wood and steel front gate, our only means of security in the busy Gleneagles Road.
We had no gate while the insurance and the police sorted out the mess caused by the driver who fled the scene.
I would like to thank the night patrols of ADT Security who looked after us during this time. It helped our family to sleep at night.
