My husband and I, together with some of our neighbours, would like to thank councillor Marcelle Ravid for the quick response in getting the inspectors and town planners to check the overcrowded house in 11th Street and tell the tenants and owners it is illegal to live in a commune in Orange Grove.
It seems to have done the trick. We are very thankful.
After reading the article, Out of favour, published 19 July, we are happy that you managed to sort our problem out (which we hope will be long-lasting) and hope you remain as ward councillor.
