This year's theme of "supporting the Springboks" was embraced wholeheartedly and all the spectators dressed up for the occasion, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

St Teresa’s Junior Primary School held their Grade 1, 2 and 3 inter-house sports day on July 29.

This year’s theme of ‘supporting the Springboks’ was embraced wholeheartedly and all the spectators dressed up for the occasion, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Grade 3 learner Daisy Brenne expresses heartfelt gratitude for the day with Junior Primary School principal Lynne Elfick.

St Teresa’s admission and marketing manager Lianda May said, “Our young athletes had an action-packed morning from flat races and baton relay races to fun-filled races such as leapfrog and sack races. A highlight of the morning was the Grade 3 parents’ sack race. All the learners showed outstanding dedication, talent and teamwork.”

May congratulated Grade 3 learner Thandolwenkosi Sibiya who delivered a welcoming speech and Daisy Brenner who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the day at the end of the morning.
